About the Ranch

Kevin Mathew has been running cattle on the same stretch of Llano County land his grandfather cleared in the 1960s. K&K Ranch is named for Kevin and his wife Kelsey, who raise Miniature Herefords the old-fashioned way — good grass, good water, minimal stress, and a whole lot of patience. They don't advertise much, but when a K&K animal becomes available, it doesn't stay that way for long. Every animal leaves halter-trained, with all paperwork in hand and a cell number you can actually reach.
