Do I have to pay to list cattle?+
No. Every ranch gets a free storefront and one active listing on the Rancher plan. You only pay when you need unlimited listings or full HerdBook tooling.
What's the transaction fee?+
When a buyer pays through Ranch Hero escrow, we charge 2.9% + Stripe fees. That covers signed contract, transport handoff, and buyer protection. You can always sell off-platform with zero transaction fee — escrow is optional.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your billing dashboard any time — your data stays intact and your storefront drops to the Rancher tier.
Do you take a cut of my sales?+
Only on escrow-protected sales (2.9%). Direct sales through your storefront — buyer pays you via Venmo, check, wire, whatever — we take nothing.
What happens after the 14-day trial?+
You'll be billed the plan price monthly starting day 15. No charge during the trial. Cancel before day 14 and you're not charged.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?+
Yes — prorated automatically. Upgrade to unlock more capacity, downgrade to Rancher (free) to pause without losing your data.
